Apple Computer announced on Tuesday, October 2, 2001
that it was immediately terminating any further active
development and maintenance on MacApp and the Apple Class
Suites. [October 2 2001]

MacApp Release XV.I Posted!
An update to the recently announced MacApp Release XV
has been posted to the framework
sources page. This update, called MacApp Release XV.I,
incorporates a number of important bug fixes, provides
updated Project Builder projects, and adds project for
CodeWarrior Pro 7. [August 28 2001]

ACS Release XV.I Posted!
Along with the update to MacApp we are pleased to
announce the updated ACS Release XV.I. This update can be
found on the framework sources
page and it also incorporates a number of important bug
fixes, updated Project Builder projects, and adds project
for CodeWarrior Pro 7. The Apple Class Suites, ACS, is a
library of lightweight C++ classes for the Macintosh APIs
including some very useful Carbon API wrappers that lend a
taste of robustness to an otherwise bland fare. You may be
excited to learn that ACS does not require any particular
application framework and is designed to be usable in any
C++ Macintosh application or library. [August 28
